Kalaimamani awards are annual cultural awards given away by the Tamil Nadu Iyal Isai Nataka Mandram for outstanding contribution in the field of art and literature.
The award was first given in 1954 and it carries a cash purse “Porkizhi” of Rs. 100000 to senior Kalaimamani winners along with a certification and shield.
It was last awarded for time period 2011-2018 in 2019 after the hiatus of 8 years. A list of 201 awardees was annouced for this period. Some of the notable awardees are Vijay Sethupathi, Prabhu Deva, Suresh Krishna, AM Rathnam, Yuva Shankar Raja, Rathnavelu, Director Hari, Priyamani and Santhanam.
